Trudie preparing for 2022

Update January 2022

A very Happy New Year, we hope and trust a fantastic Christmas was had by one and all.

With the season fast approaching and just around the corner it’s time for a little update.

Firstly we have had a slight change of plan for the 2022 season and are extremely excited to announce that Cigma Racing have, last Thursday, entered The Supersport TT 2022. A close analysis of Rik’s performance during last season proves he’s up to speed in the 600 class and coupled with already being a creditable TT rider the decision was an easy one. We’ll know by early March if our entry has been accepted.

Our plans for racing on the French short circuits, with WERC on Trudie Triumph, remain unchanged. The preparations, for which, are well underway and have moved from the cold of the barn to the warmth of home. The race engine was delivered to David Wood Racing at the beginning of December ‘21 for a complete refresh. All other prep work is being done, quite literally, in house.

Trudie should be ready by mid-February in plenty of time for testing at Le Vigeant in March and April, giving Rik and The team plenty of track time before the first race meeting at Pau Arnos in May.

So far it’s all slotting together quite nicely and long may that last.

Until the next time, take care.
